Access is via Thornton le Dale on the A170 Helmsley to Scarborough road. At the crossroads
at the centre of Thornton le Dale, following the brown tourist signs, turn north up Whitbygate. Once in the forest, follow the forest drive past the toll and Haygate
viewpoint, and down the hill towards the hamlet of Dalby. Nutwood is on your left in the valley, overlooking the grassland around the local beck. There is ample parking on the drive for your car. Simply call at the bungalow to announce your arrival. The holiday starts here.
